ALIMATS® are heading to Qatar. Our patented 1.740m interlocking configuration has been ordered by a global offshore services company to the oil, gas and renewables industry.
Weekend ALIMATS® deliveries is the norm. We dropped off our 3.02² configuration on a Saturday for our client Balfour Beatty plc. Set-up at their site in Coleshill – this is a Balfour Beatty VINCI JV project for HS2.
We do loads with BAM Construct UK. Our delivery to BAM’s client EQ in Bristol was hired to sit under a Dingli JCPT scissor lift.
FP McCann need no introduction. They asked us to deliver our 5.04m² ALIMATS® configuration to their client’s site in Milton Keynes, for a single day hire. We offloaded and did the set up, too.
William Hayley Engineering hired our 3.02m² and 7.06m² ALIMATS® configuration on behalf of Willmott Dixon’s Wixams Academy project in Bedford. Ainscough Crane Hire is also a regular client of ours.
ALIMATS® has featured lots on HS2 projects, including Euston Station construction works – a Mace-Dragados joint venture project. Our client Premier Modular hired our 3.480m, 1.740m and 2.175m interlocking mat modules.
The brilliant team at Ainscough Crane Hire booked ALIMATS® for Grangemouth Refinery. Site safety is important to all of our customers – and it’s no different with Ainscough, which is why they chose our handleable and interlocking modules for this long-term hire project. We supplied a range of mat sizes for multiple cranes, from our 2.01m² set up to our 7.06m² set. Our 7.06m² long mats were booked at 2.50pm and delivered to site at 8.02am – all within 18 hours of being ordered.
We’re used to shipping ALIMATS® to remote Wind Farms. This one is Forss Wind Farm near Thurso in Caithness. We quoted the hire on Thursday; it was booked on Friday – and we delivered to Scotland on Saturday, on behalf of our client RES.
Our 3.02m² modules being loaded onto this Teeside Vessel at ABLE Middlesbrough Port on behalf of Speedy Services. The order came through in the morning, we shipped to site in the afternoon and the ship set sail a few hours later.
Portakabin booked these 3.02m² mats for a 7am delivery to Greenwich in London – which is no problem for us, with our own team of delivery drivers, and fleet of FORS bronze vans. Need an earlier delivery? No problem. Emerson Crane Hire is also an ALIMATS® customer.
We’ve made a few trips to Manchester’s Co-op Live on behalf of BAM Construct UK – modules were set up under mobile cranes and MEWP platforms.
Sparrows Group in Aberdeen bought our 1.160m short and 1.740m standard mats and our driver delivered them to site. Aberdeen Football Club was just around the corner from Sparrows, so he stopped off at the Richard Donald Stand to take this snap of footballing legend Sir Alex Ferguson. Thanks for the 800-mile round trip, Neil – and sharing a great photo on our team WhatsApp group!
Balfour Beatty VINCI JV HS2 purchased their second set of ALIMATS® (and Ethafoam) – twelve 1.16m x 1.16m (1.34m²) interlocking modules – which we painted in HS2 branded blue.
Crane Hire Specialists Dewsbury & Proud bought their first ever set. We painted the 24 lightweight modules in black and fitted red handles – Dewsbury and Proud corporate colours. We also made a stencil to apply their company logo. They arranged their own collection from our Ashbourne depot and messaged us a few hours later to say they look amazing!
Craig International purchased 20 ALIMATS® to form four 1.74m x 1.74m (3.02m²) load spread areas. Our delivery driver shipped them to site at INEOS in Grangemouth.
