Hollowcore flooring is a precast concrete pre-stressed flooring system; and by their name ‘hollow’ – they inherently have fantastic weight to span characteristics. Over the years, they’ve been widely used on multi occupancy residential buildings, commercial offices, and car parks.

This flooring system is also specified whereby the soffits are left exposed to optimise the inherent thermal mass benefits of exposed concrete elements, which contribute to a reduction in lifetime energy costs.

Our sister company Beresford’s Flooring Limited (BFL) has been installing these units for over 30 years, so have vast experience when it comes to good and bad practice.

IOSH is the Chartered body and largest membership organisation for health and safety professionals.
